What our donors say
12 hours for Greece...12 hours for human solidarity. Each of us can do something to help people in need. Human beings are obliged to help one another. Each contribution, (and I do not only mean money) is a big and most precious contribution, because it comes from the heart and is received by a heart. Thank you "12 hours for Greece" for your love and trust in what I do, and what I am.
Alexandra Gravas, mezzo-soprano
There is no fire without fuel...There is no tomorrow without proper education. Let's be together in this !
Petros Bouras, pianist, on "Fuel for Schools"
As President of the International foundation for Greece, I would like to thank from the depth of my heart, My friend and great Philhellene Jimmy Jamar and the whole team of 12 Hours for Greece for their actions in favour of our Foundation.
The needs are enormous and your support is extremely precious. Altogether we will reach our goals !
Aspasia Leventis, President, the International Foundation for Greece
I consider myself fortunate to have had the opportunity to participate in the past in the charity project “12 hours for Greece”, in Brussels. It was a great and moving experience to observe the generosity and the love of people for Greece and the admiration and love of non-Greek intellectuals for Greece and the Greek civilization.
I sincerely hope that the forthcoming charity project which will focus on securing the purchase of fuel to heat schools in Greece during the winter months will be again embraced with enthusiasm by all. I wish the organizers and especially the master mind behind this initiative, Jimmy Jamar, every success.
